Media to Movement (MTM) Coaching Explained

MTM coaching commences with the formation of a core team of 2 – 6 people involved with the target country. Starting a new MTM initiative with a brand new core team is a big task with a learning curve. That’s why we – with our partners – have broken the process down into four main stages listed below:

Coaching Stages Explained

Lay the Foundation

The core team will clarify vision, discuss offline strategy, identify and begin to recruit MTM roles, establish partnership expectations, catalyze a prayer strategy, prepare a budget, and create branding.

Setup Online Presence

We will walk your team through the necessary steps to apply security best practices, design your website, and set up digital accounts and your social media platform.

Strategize and Train for MTM Roles

We will train all the roles required for your MTM strategy: Content Creators, Marketers, Digital Responders, and Multipliers (disciple makers who follow up in person with contacts)

Launch MTM Initiative

You will publish four ads each of which will be followed up by a marketing consultant's feedback. The team is now considered a launched MTM initiative and will transition to post-launch training.

In Person Option

  • 3 Days in Budapest: bring your entire Core Team to Budapest and let the OneKingdom team accelerate Stage One from 5 weeks of virtual calls to just 3 intensive days together.
  • A OneKingdom team member will meet with you virtually to help you set up the online presence for your MTM initiative.
  • Note: Stage 3 and 4 are combined in one trip.

How do I get involved?

What is the EuroHub?

The EuroHub is a community of practice made up of MTM practitioners in Europe. We learn from each other and help each other navigate the challenges that come from managing an MTM initiative. We also share resources, like content and other tools. We can see that the more we collaborate, the more we can foster synergy leading to accelerating each MTM team’s effort to find seekers to disciple.
